David Essex
David Essex OBE (* 23. Juli 1947 in London als David Albert Cook) ist ein britischer Rocksänger, Musicaldarsteller und Schauspieler. Mitte der 1970er Jahre war er ein Teenieschwarm in Großbritannien. Bekannt wurde er mit Hits wie Rock On, Gonna Make You a Star und Hold Me Close sowie durch Musical- und Filmerfolge in Großbritannien.
